David Krum is Associate Lab Director of the Mixed Reality Lab at the USC Institute for Creative Technologies. His research interests include human-computer interaction, virtual reality, and 3D interaction. His work combines an engineering approach of building technical artifacts with a scientific approach of experimentation and user evaluation. He is currently researching how virtual reality affects human memory, motor adaptation, and social behavior. Dr. Krum studied Engineering at Caltech and Computer Science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. His PhD research at Georgia Tech focused on how wearable computers and 3D visualizations could enhance spatial cognition, that is, help individuals more quickly learn the structure of their surrounding environment.

Psychologist Skip Rizzo conducts research on the design, development and evaluation of virtual reality (VR) systems targeting the areas of clinical assessment, treatment rehabilitation and resilience. This work spans the domains of psychological, cognitive and motor functioning in both healthy and clinical populations. Rizzo, whose work using virtual reality-based exposure therapy to treat PTSD received the American Psychological Association’s 2010 Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Treatment of Trauma, is the associate director for medical virtual reality at the USC Institute for Creative Technologies. He also holds research professor appointments with the USC Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and at the USC Davis School of Gerontology. Rizzo is working with a team that is creating artificially intelligent virtual patients that clinicians can use to practice skills required for challenging clinical interviews and diagnostic assessments. His cognitive work has addressed the use of VR applications to test and train attention, memory, visuospatial abilities and executive function. In the motor domain, he has developed VR game systems to address physical rehabilitation post stroke and traumatic brain injury and for prosthetic use training. He is currently designing VR scenarios to address social and vocational interaction in persons with autistic spectrum disorder. Rizzo is currently examining the use of VR applications for training emotional coping skills with the aim of preparing service members for the stresses of combat. Ms. Sherman is a Board Member on the San Diego Jackie Robinson Family YMCA, leads on the board of the Neighborhood House Association (NHA) and is a board member on the Society Human Resources (SHRM SD), and serves as the North San Diego Business Chamber senior advisor. Her immediate past board appointments include, an officer of the National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA), the Pepperdine University Graziadio Alumni Board, and founding member of the Pepperdine University Black Alumni Council. Ms. Sherman has expertise in all facets of Human Resources, organizational development, talent acquisition, talent & performance management, and diversity & inclusion and has presented at Conference Board, ATD, PIHRA, SHRM and NAWMBA conferences and university campuses throughout the United States. Neha Singh is the Founder & CEO of Obsess, a Virtual Reality Shopping Platform for Fashion. She was previously the Head of Product at Vogue, where she was responsible for the product strategy and technology execution of Vogue’s digital business including content products, ad products and distribution platforms. While there, she launched the Vogue website, Vogue Runway and 2 mobile apps. Prior to that, Neha was VP of Product and Engineering at AHAlife, an ecommerce startup for luxury lifestyle products. Neha began her career at Google, where she was a Software Engineer and Tech Lead for 5 years and worked on Google AdWords and Google News. She holds an undergraduate Computer Science degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a graduate Computer Science degree from MIT.

Tunisha Singleton Ph.D. is a Media Psychologist and Director of Consulting Partnerships at Reality Science LLC., a consultancy where exceptional focus leads to infinite possibilities across emergent technology streams. With 15 years of entertainment experience blended across screenwriting, broadcasting, digital media marketing, and social media management, Tunisha works to create synergy between storytelling, branding, and technology. Tunisha specializes in the construction of experiences and digital communication within sports business and technology. Using the tools of narrative and brand psychology, Tunisha is involved with various innovation projects in the verticals of sports, social advocacy, virtual and augmented reality. She is also Chief Experience Officer of JabCross Media, a consulting one-two punch where research informs the design of content creation and audience engagement strategies. As a current Adjunct Faculty member at Fielding Graduate University, her current research focuses on the intersection between human behavior and media technology. He joined Legend 3D when it was a staff of 50 and as COO, managed it's explosive growth to over 400 in a purpose built 60,000 sq ft facility. He's a member of the Directors Guild of America.

Sarah is on Google's VR team. For the past two years, she has worked on projects ranging from managing and launching some of the world's largest VR campaigns, including the 1.3 million Google cardboard units shipped out in partnership with the New York Times, to scaling the capture of new and wild content for Google Expeditions. Today she leads the Jump loan program working with studios, independent creators, developers and Universities to test new use cases in VR video. She grew up in Geneva Switzerland and is an avid alpinist in her spare time, constantly looking to bring VR closer to her passions.

Nora is an Additive Manufacturing expert and engaged in inspiring women to embrace Tech. careers in the 3D Printing industry. She started her career in the Additive Manufacturing in 2010 by joining online 3D Printing service leader, Sculpteo, as employee #8. After 3 years in France, she relocated in San Francisco to open Sculpteo’s first overseas offices. She now leads Sales and Business Dev. for North America from the San Francisco office. Nora founded Women in 3D Printing in 2014 to feature women leaders in the Additive Manufacturing sector through interviews and portraits. She also initiated #3DTalk, a series of events in the Bay Area and in major industry events like the CES, Inside 3D Printing events. Pursuing her vision for more social inclusion, she recently joined 3D Africa as Board Advisor. 3D Africa is a youth and women economic empowerment program developed by the Youth for Technology Foundation (YTF), a nonprofit organization with years of experience combining education, technology, and economic development to transform economically challenged populations into self-sustainable communities. 3D Africa is part of the YTF’s Clinton Global Initiative 2016 Commitment to Action. As part of her vocation to contribute to the development of the industry, Nora is also Board Advisor for 3DHeals. 3DHeals’ mission statements are to foster and educate the community about applications and innovations in healthcare 3D Printing as well as to facilitate global multidisciplinary collaborative innovations.
