VR First to Open 50 VR Labs Worldwide

(LABizJournals)  VR First aims to provide state-of-the-art virtual-reality and augmented-reality facilities to academic institutions worldwide. The initiative works with universities and science parks to set up or renovate PC labs into AR/VR-ready facilities. With 26 labs already up and running, including one at the University of Southern California, the Los Angeles-based initiative aims to have 50 open by the end of the year
VR First’s labs are currently operating in 23 countries in the U.S., Europe, Asia and Oceania, and have supported an estimated 3,783 developers worldwide. Some 14 additional facilities are coming soon, with more in development. Each lab receives state-of-the-art equipment plus active fostering of collaboration between the lab and the AR/VR community.
