(ChipChick) Excedrin has created a VR-based Migraine Experience, a simulation of what it’s actually like to get hit with a migraine. The Migraine Experience shows non-migraine sufferers that migraines are more than just bad headaches. The simulation can’t replicate nausea or the actual head pain experienced by man, it can show how bad vision blur and dizziness gets.
Excedrin had a custom rig drawn up that combines augmented reality and virtual reality to get people to see what their lives would be like if they were suddenly hit with a migraine. When strapped into VR, users will still be able to see the real world around them, but with migraine goggles.
