Porsche Says VR-Powered Dealerships Will Change How We Buy Cars

(Inverse.com)  Porsche Asia Pacific marketing director Carl Isenbeck recently said that virtual and augmented reality are going to change the way we buy cars. Isenbeck said the technologies could permanently alter showrooms, adding a new dimension to the car buying experience.
Isenbeck is reluctant to commit to any sort of long-term plan for the Porsche’s showrooms. The problem is, looking at a car in VR means the buyer doesn’t get the same feel as they would from a real drive. This, Isenbeck admits, could change in the future.
