Microsoft to Build AR into Windows 10

(Investopedia) During the MicrosoftEDU event on May 2, Microsoft announced it would be building augmented reality into Windows 10 Called “View Mixed Reality,” the feature will be included in Windows 10 later this year and will enable users to take 3D objects that are created in 3D paint and bring them into the real world by using any laptop or device that is running Windows 10 and has a webcam built in.
Microsoft’s event was focused on the education market and the software giant showed off how it would work in the classroom. During a demo, Microsoft used View Mixed Reality to show the Mars Curiosity Rover next to a speaker so people could see how large the Rover is in the real world,
